Frontera’s Colombia Upstream business has a diversified portfolio of assets with interests in 19 exploration and production blocks in Colombia.

Main Assets Colombia

Quifa SW

  • The Quifa field was discovered in May 2008.

  • The field is located in the Llanos Basin, in Puerto Gaitan.

  • Related to the stratigraphic column for the Quifa field, the oil-bearing, Oligocene-age Arenas Basales sandstone reservoir is part of the Carbonera Formation.

  • Efficient water handling., including via the Company’s SAARA project is expected to increase volumes over the next few years.

CPE-6

  • The CPE-6 block is located approximately 300 kilometers southeast of Bogota in the Llanos Basin.

  • Related to the stratigraphic column for the Hamaca field in the Llanos Basin, the oil-bearing Upper Eocene- and Oligocene-age Arenas Basales (AB) and the overlying Carbonara (C7B and C7C) sandstone reservoirs are part of the Carbonera Formation.

  • Increased water handling capacity will boost production over the next few years.

VIM-1

  • VIM-1 block is located in the Lower Magdalena Valley (VIM Basin – Colombia).

  • Gas condensate discovery at La Belleza-1 and successful follow-up at La Belleza-2.

  • Large, diverse prospect inventory; including both clastic and carbonate exploration opportunities.
